The Spirit of Christ
Published in Paperback by Bethany House (January, 1984)
Author: Andrew Murray
Average review score:

a tremendous book, covering every aspect of the Holy Spirit!
The Spirit of Christ by Andrew Murray, even though originally written in the late 1800's, explores all aspects of the Holy Spirit. It helps the reader to discover God's purpose for the Holy Spirit in the believer's life. It is bibically accurate, though many times biblical references are not acknowledged so a familiarity with Scripture is useful when reading The Spirit of Christ. I highly recommend it to any believer of Christ who wants to learn more about the indwelling Spirit.

Spirit of the Moon
Published in Hardcover by Forge (October, 1996)
Author: Earl Murray
Average review score:

Searching for truth
This book portrays the challenge of searching for the truth and escaping a life of fulfilling other people's desires. It shows that if you have the courage and determination, as well as strength, you can overcome what you consider injustice. A good portrayal of the American Dream (work hard for what you want and you'll get it!) in a unique fashion--using American cultural history, namely the 'conquering' of the Indians for your own benefit--to show other injustices. Keep up the good work Earl Murray!

Spiritual Life
Published in Paperback by Whitaker House (April, 2000)
Author: Andrew Murray
Average review score:

Do not miss this book!
Remember to have your Bible handy, as Mr. Murray knows the basis for his book is the Word, and does refer to It. This book is a must-read for any who seek a deeper walk with the Lord. Andrew Murray speaks from Scripture as well as the heart in the pages of The Spiritual Life. Pray about and meditate on the insights shared here; it is a complement to our Lord's teaching on being filled with and walking in the Spirit.

St. Joseph Daily Prayer Book: Prayers, Readings, and Devotions for the Year (St. Joseph)

Authors: Catholic Church, John Murry, and John Murray

An excellent and thorough prayer book
This little prayer book is thorough. It contains the Breviary, as well as prayers for all occasions. I especially like the commentaries on spirituality and prayer by those who have formed our heritage--Teresa of Avila, John Henry Newman, and many others. All of this in a compact little book.

Stomach Ailments and Digestive Disturbances (Getting Well Naturally Series)
Published in Paperback by Prima Publishing (April, 1997)
Author: Michael T. Murray

KEEP THIS BOOK IN PRINT!!!
This book has greatly helped my husband and myself to prevent gastric reflux. We use carrot juice (organic, and in moderation), DGL (De-Glycyrrhizinated Licorice) chewable tablets shortly before meals, Slippery-Elm throat lozenges, etc.

Others I know have also been helped greatly by this wonderful book!

We also use digestive enzymes, and pro-biotics (acidophilus/bifidus), etc.

It's amazing how much USEFUL information is packed into this small book, that is very readable, and I get no commission for saying this!!

My husband and I had Vocal Cord Dysfunction (VCD) attacks that were lessened by taking care of our sinus conditions, but we couldn't get the attacks to completely stop, until we addressed our gastric reflux, by using THIS BOOK'S IDEAS!!!

Gastric reflux is so often treated with acid blockers, that have dangerous side effects, such as not digesting protein and calcium, and not being able to absorb Vitamin B12, leading to nerve damage (peripheral neuropathies!!).

With the DGL, acid production is not stopped, but the cells are protected from the acid. See Dr. Murray's book for details!

Sincerely,
A Concerned lady

Stop the Y2K Madness!
Published in Paperback by Mfm Pub (May, 1999)
Authors: Robert Armstrong, Nancy M. Murray, and William J. Murray
Average review score:

Excellent book for Christians that are in a panic over Y2k
This book along with Dave Hunt's book, Y2k: A reasoned response to mass Hysteria should be read by all Christians who have bought into the Y2K Madness that is occuring in the evangelical churches today. We need to get back to getting the gospel out, not preparing for the end of the world.

Brothers and Sisters Reach Out
With drawings and quotes from bereaved brothers and sisters, the editor creates a touching memorial to the love between siblings. The book brings out not only the sadness, but also the difficult feelings, such as jealousy and guilt, that trouble the survivors. Any bereaved sibling reading this book will come away feeling included in its page. It is full of hope and appropriate for readers of all ages.

Strong-Minded Women and Other Lost Voices
Published in Paperback by Random House Trade Paperbacks (May, 1982)
Author: Janet Horowitz Murray
Average review score:

A must-read for all enthusiasts
"Strong-minded Women and other lost voices from Nineteenth Century England" is a must-read for all serious enthusiasts of modern/Victorian/woman's history. It is a compilation of nineteenth century women's words and writings on a wide variety of topics, some of which are virtually ignored by other books on the period. What I find particularly usefula nd fascinating about the book is the wide social spectrum it covers, ranging from Queen Victoria's letters to her eldest daughter to the testimony of a nine-year-old girl working underground in the mines. As a teaching assistant for a general survey course of modern history, I find the book very useful to teach my students about the darker side of "the good old days". I highly recommend this book.
